Getting started
How do I start a challenge?
Pick a plan on the pricing section, create an account in the trader portal, fill in your details at checkout and pay the one-time fee. Your MetaTrader 5 credentials are generated automatically and appear in your dashboard and inbox.
How fast do I get my MT5 account?
Usually within a minute. Provisioning is fully automated, and no human on our side needs to click anything. If anything delays it, your dashboard shows the live status and the credentials follow by email.
Is there a free trial?
No. Challenges start at $299 for a $25,000 account, and the fee is a one-time payment refunded in full with your first payout. Coupon codes are accepted at checkout.
Are these live trading accounts?
No. All accounts are demo accounts with virtual funds running in a simulated environment on real MetaTrader 5 servers. You never trade real money; you earn performance-based rewards for meeting the objectives.
Can I use my own MT5 app?
Yes. The credentials work in MetaTrader 5 on desktop, mobile and in the web terminal. Log in with the server, login and password from your dashboard.
Rules & objectives
How is the daily loss limit calculated?
Against your equity at the start of the trading day (server time), including floating P&L. Example on a $100,000 account with a 5% limit: if the day starts at $102,000, your equity floor for that day is $96,900. Crossing it fails the account automatically.
Static vs trailing drawdown — what's the difference?
Static drawdown is a fixed floor below the starting balance, e.g. $90,000 on a $100,000 account with a 10% limit, forever. Trailing drawdown instead follows your equity high-water mark, so the floor climbs as you profit. Every plan we sell uses static drawdown (10% on 2-Step, 8% on Instant Funding); we do not use trailing drawdown at all.
What happens when I break a rule?
The risk engine fails the account, open positions are closed and the exact breach reason (which rule, at what equity) is recorded in your dashboard. There are no partial penalties and no discretionary reviews — the same code applies to everyone.
Is news trading allowed? Weekend holding? EAs?
Yes to all three. There are no news blackouts, no weekend-flat requirement and no strategy bans. The only rules are the published loss limits, profit targets and minimum trading days.
Can someone else trade my account?
Yes, with our approval. Account management is allowed once we have approved the arrangement in writing, before any trading on your behalf starts. Write to support@protradersfunding.com from your registered address and name who will be trading. The account stays yours and so does responsibility for the rules: a limit breached by your manager is still a breach of your account, and rewards are paid only to you after KYC. Handing over credentials without an approved arrangement is prohibited and can trigger an account review. Full wording in Section 7 of the Terms.
What counts as a trading day?
Any calendar day (server time) on which you executed at least one trade. Minimum trading days per phase are listed on each plan card, typically 3–4.
Is there a time limit on the evaluation?
No. Take as long as you need. The account stays active as long as you respect the loss limits.
Funded accounts & payouts
How do payouts work?
Payouts are on demand: on a funded account, request a payout from your dashboard whenever you have profit — there is no payout calendar and no minimum wait between requests. After a one-time KYC verification each request is reviewed by our team and paid out. Your share is 90% on evaluation plans and 70% on Instant Funding.
How fast are payouts?
Every payout request is reviewed within 24 hours of submission — your dashboard shows the exact "decision by" time next to each pending request. Once approved, the money goes out by your chosen method (bank transfer, Wise or USDT) and you receive a verifiable payout certificate.
When do I get my challenge fee back?
The full fee is added to your first payout from the funded account.
How does the scaling plan work?
Each time a funded account grows by +15%, you choose from your dashboard: take the profit as a payout, or move up to the next account size in our pricing. If you move up, the profit pays for the upgrade and we set up a fresh account at the bigger size, funded from day one. There is no application process and you can repeat it all the way to $2,000,000.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Every passed evaluation and funded account gets a certificate with a unique ID that anyone can check on the verification page.
Billing & account
Is the fee one-time or recurring?
One-time, per challenge. No subscriptions or hidden costs, and it's refunded with your first payout. See the refund policy for details.
Do you accept coupon codes?
Yes. Enter the code at checkout and the discount is applied instantly.
Can I run multiple challenges?
Yes. Each account is evaluated independently against its own objectives.
What if I fail — can I try again?
Always. Failing a challenge has no consequences beyond that account ending, and you can start a new challenge at any time.
